Lori Cunningham
Lori Lee Cunningham, 55, of Woodbridge, VA, formerly of Sutton, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in her sleep on April 10, 2018, in Sutton, WV. Lori was born in Gassaway, WV on January 19, 1963.

She was the beloved daughter of Dale Lee Cunningham and Violet Yvonne (Given) Cunningham of Sutton, WV. Also surviving are her spouse, Kate Gibb, of Woodbridge, VA, whom she married on September 6, 2012; sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Rodney Cook of Sutton, WV; and niece, Cortney Stewart of Walnut Creek, CA. She also leaves behind her constant canine companions, Autumn and Sadie. Lori was loved beyond words by her whole family.

Lori was a bright, shining star, not just because of her beauty, but by the sweetness, empathy and warmth with which she treated all human beings and animals. She radiated kindness, dignity and elegance to everyone she encountered. She was a member of the Braxton County High School Basketball 1,000 Point Club. Lori spent many hours outdoors and enjoyed coming home to work on the farm, golfing, cycling, and ATV riding. She also was very good at woodworking and created many beautiful things that her family will treasure forever.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Operation Paws for Homes, P.O. Box 90813, Alexandria, VA 22309.
