Donald Wayne Richard, 67, of Winnie, TX passed away peacefully on May 8, 2018. He was born on December 10, 1950 to the late Emile Pierre Richard and Winnie Mary (Benoit) Richard. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sister, Judy Bertrand.
Mr. Richard is survived by son Cody A. Richard Eugene, OR and daughter Karen Barker and husband Don of Burnsville, WV, and one grandchild Brittany Barker. Also surviving are sisters Diane Delk, Patsy Royer and Mary Crossland. Mr. Richard graduated from East Chambers High School in Winnie, TX. He also was caregiver to many people and worked for EMS. He enjoyed old time country music his favorite performer was George Straight and he also enjoyed French Music his favorite Cajun singer was Joel Sonnier. He was proud of his Cajun background.
The Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home of Flatwoods will be handling the arrangements for Donald Richard. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
